The Ferrari 499P is a testament to the brands dedication to endurance racing.
Ferrari recently unveiled its new Le Mans Hypercar, the 499P. This incredible vehicle marks the return of Ferrari to the world's greatest motor race after a 50 year absence; showing its prowess in 2023.

The four-wheel drive prototype meets the technical regulations and specs of the Le Mans Hypercar class, featuring a max power of 500 kW to its wheels and a minimum weight of 1,030 kilos.
The 499P has been developed with Maranello's resources of technical, professional and human superiority, managed by Attività Sportive GT under the guidance of Antonello Coletta and the engineering and development department, headed by Ferdinando Cannizzo.

The ERS - Energy Recovery System - is the second 'soul' of the hybrid powertrain, providing an impressive maximum power output of 200 kW (272 cv). This electric motor comes with a differential and gets powered from a rechargeable battery, so no external energy source is needed. Substantial Formula 1 experience was used in the development of this purpose-built battery pack, which operates with a nominal voltage of 900v. Consequently, the total max power output of the 499P is 500 kW (680 cv) and it is allied with a seven-speed sequential gearbox.

The Ferrari 499P is the product of meticulous refinement by the Ferrari Styling Centre under the leadership of Flavio Manzoni. Its sinuous shapes are symbolic of Ferrari's DNA, with its tension-filled lines and graceful surfaces combining to form a sleek, modern and iconic design. The exterior features are seamlessly integrated, with flat bodywork leading into side pods and wheel arches that generate smooth airstreams around the cockpit and winding path for cooling radiators located underneath. Wheel arches, for which Ferraris are renowned, have signature louvres to minimise pressure inside the wells. Furthermore, headlights pay tribute to those on the Daytona SP3 for an eye-catching front end.
