Polestar 5, a smooth Scandinavian four-door GT. Currently being developed at the Polestar’s UK R&D centre.
The Polestar 5 features standard all-wheel drive by way of two electric motors - one in the front and one in the rear. While the 2's setup provided a substantial 402-hp and a speedy 0-60 mph time of 4.1 seconds at our test track, the 5 offers over double that power with an estimated combined rating of 884-hp. This puts it in direct competition to cars like Porsche's Taycan and Tesla's Model S for supremacy.

It will also feature a lightweight bonded aluminium chassis with pressed aluminium panels. However, other than the previously mentioned specifications, Polestar hasn’t given out much else in terms of details.

The Polestar 5 is predicted to offer over 300 miles of range from its 103.0-KWh battery, but it would be even more advantageous for them to aim for over 400 miles like the existing Tesla Model S and Air models. All the modern charging methods should also be expected, including Level 2 home charging and DC fast charging for public outlets.
The concept car boasts a huge 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen embedded in the centre of the dashboard, powered by Polestar's most current Android-derived software interface. Further enhancing the high tech look, a 12.5-inch reconfigurable gauge display lies close by as well as two smaller monitors on the door panels providing views instead of conventional mirrors. Although it is uncertain how much of this will end up in production, it is unlikely the exterior camera system will make the cut.
