Swedish EV manufacturer Polestar, a brand owned by Volvo group and Geely, recently opened the second 'space' in Spain. Their new headquarters is known as the Polestar Space.
Polestar is actively searching for a second location in Madrid. The plan doesn't stop there - Stéphane Le Guével, the director of Polestar in Spain, is also looking to open additional 'spaces' in Valencia, Malaga and the Canary Islands.

Polestar is planning to grow by 60% worldwide this year, from selling 51,500 cars in 2022 to 80,000 in 2023. To reach this goal, they believe their own spaces are key - evidence of which can be seen in Barcelona's success: 50% of Polestar sales to people in Spain occurred in Catalonian last year.
"I’m proud of the many milestones we achieved in 2022 and in particular the massive team effort that went into delivering our strongest quarter to date – surpassing our 50,000 global volumes target for the year. We are now fully focused on 2023. There will be the usual quarterly variations, but I’m confident that we will continue to actively manage our supply chain to meet the growing demand for Polestar 2, commence first deliveries of Polestar 3 and launch Polestar 4," says Polestar CEO, Thomas Ingenlath.

This dealership stands out due to its unique approach: one cannot buy any cars here. As Pedro Parra, Polestar's commercial director, told EL ESPAÑOL, visitors are able to use the tablets in the space to submit their data on the Polestar website, but all transactions are completed online.
Polestar Automotive Spain SL, which is only just over a year old, works on a direct sales model. This means that there are no intermediaries or dealers involved when it comes to billing the customer for their newly purchased car - transactions are carried out directly with the parent company.
Polestar 3 Premium SUV
Polestar unveiled the 3, their first foray into the ever-popular SUV market, in Copenhagen. This all-electric model sports a dual-motor arrangement that produces up to 510 horsepower and a huge 671 pound-feet of torque. The 107.0-kWh battery promises an EPA test cycle range of 300 miles with the standard package, or 270 miles if you choose the Performance pack. Slated for release in Q4 2023, prices start at $85,300 and include Polestar's Pilot and Plus packages in the first model year.
