The Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath confirms the company's 2022 delivery target of 50,000 electric vehicles. In a tweet shown below the CEO subtly hint at the company's recent accomplishment.

Polestar has a good and solid production track record and in its third-quarter earnings, PSNY reported that it delivered about 9,215 vehicles. The company added that it delivered about 30,400 cars in the first nine months of 2022, up 100% on a year-on-year basis.

The Swedish EV maker has reiterated continually during the latter months of 2022, it’s on track to hit 50,000 electric vehicle deliveries by the end of the year and so accomplish its target.

There are a growing number of polestar cars on the road. During Q4 of 2022, the company announced a new milestone of building over 100,000 Polestar 2's and over 10,000 of those cars were sold in the UK alone.

Polestar has a big year ahead of itself. The company is planning to build and deliver over 120,000 electric vehicles in 2023. Additionally, the company will unveil its new Polestar 4 mid-size SUV. Polestar will also begin manufacturing the Polestar 3 premium flagship SUV in its share factory with Volvo in Charleston, USA.

The first available Polestar 3 will cost $83,900 (£74,422), the company CEO Thomas Ingenlath said: “Polestar 3 is a powerful electric SUV that appeals to the senses with a distinct, Scandinavian design and excellent driving dynamics.”

Polestar had a great year in 2022, and the company's growth and recognition were strong. It is undoubtedly that the company will accomplish far greater things in 2023.
