Alauda Aeronautics has unveiled its highly anticipated Airspeeder Mk4 - the world's quickest eVTOL aircraft. The crewed version of the flying racing car was designed and crafted in Adelaide, South Australia.
When the new Airspeeder Mk4 takes flight, it marks a huge milestone because this model is to be operated by people. The first three Airspeeders as well as their debut race was managed remotely, so the world's first crewed racing drone tournament is bound to create quite the buzz.

The Airspeeder has been crafted to raise the standard for technology and performance in the fresh sport of piloted racing. With a maximum speed of 360 kph (225 mph) achieved in 30 seconds from a standstill, the world's swiftest, crewed flying race car unlocks opportunities for manufactures to collaborate with Airspeeder to bring about a motorsport revolution.
Airspeeder have constructed the vehicles, conceived the sport, provided the venues, and enticed sponsors and technical partners. Now it's time for automotive brands, OEM manufacturers and motorsport teams that aim high to join in a genuinely progressive new motorsport.
Designed with sophisticated electric propulsion, streamlined aerodynamics and an incredibly light take-off weight of only 950kg, the Airspeeder Mk4 packs quite a punch in terms of efficiency; expected to reach a range of 300km (188 miles) with zero emissions.

The Airspeeder Mk4 features a 1,000 kW (1,340 horsepower) turbogenerator. This revolutionary technology has been tailored for use in eVTOLs and enables the consumption of green hydrogen as fuel. Consequently, dependable and sustainable power is available over extensive distances and flight times, with a projected range of 300 km (188 miles).
