NIO EC6 Electric Crossover Coupe
Nio EC6, the electric crossover coupe, received a fresh makeover for 2024. The updated design is cleaner and features advanced technology as compared to before.
Documents from the Chinese government have revealed that Nio is proceeding with a detailed update of its crossover coupe, the EC6. It is anticipated that this upgraded version will be named EC6 NT2 as a result of its comprehensive re-design and at least one new powertrain will be available.
In 2019, an update was released which brings the crossover's design into line with the other vehicles of the brand. This includes new headlights which have been divided up into two sections instead of existing as one unit.
The front fascia will receive a contemporary makeover, with a sleek, grille-less design that hints at the vehicle’s electric powertrain. Adorning the front will be novel lighting units along with bumps on top of the windshield, likely to contribute to advanced driver assistance systems. All in all, this fresh look is sure to excite.
That power figure is quite remarkable. It's more than the sport model produces (429 hp/320 kW/435 PS), but less than the Performance model holds (536 hp/400 kW/544 PS). This could mean that NIO has found a way to increase motor output, potentially signaling that an even stronger Performance version may be coming soon.

Chinese EV startup NIO as EV cut deliveries expectations for December 2022. So far NIO has done well to deliver over 91,000 EVs in 2022. The company has sold 41K ES6s, 29,900 ES8s, and almost 30K EC6s. To say this company is undervalued is an understatement.
